Here is the very popular Prawn fry recipe for you…
Ingredients:
- Prawns - ½ kg
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Onion - 2
- Tomato - 2
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric pwd - ½ tsp
- Red chilly pwd - 1 ½ tbsp
- Coriander pwd - 1 tbsp
- Pepper pwd - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Curry and coriander leaves
Method:
- Wash prawns and marinate with salt , turmeric pwd and red chilly pwd..
- Set aside for 15 mins.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add chopped onion and sauté to transculent.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell disappears.
- Add mashed tomato and cook until oil separates.
- Now add turmeric pwd, salt, red chilly pwd, pepper pwd, coriander pwd and stir well.
- Add little water and allow to boil for few minutes.
- Add the marinated prawns and stir in the masala.
- Add ½ cup water and place the lik and cook covered.
- Add fresh coriander leaves and stir well.
- Allow to cook in low flame for 5 mins.
- Open lid and check for prawns are completely cooked.
- Simmer the flame and fry well, till the masala thickens.
