This is a simple, ideal and nutritious evening snack. It’s a healthy carbohydrate rich food and incredibly tasty which leaves you cleaning up the plate. Indeed very easy to prepare as you can see….
Ingredients:
- Raggi flour - 2 cups
- Oil - 250 ml
- Rice flour - 1 tbsp
- Fried gram - 2 tbsp
- Onion - 1
- Fennel seed pwd - ½ tsp
- Red chilly - 2 (crushed to powder)
- Salt to taste
- Curry and coriander leaves
Method:
- Take Raggi flour, sieve to remove any dirt or granules present.
- Add salt and sprinkle little water to the flour and knead to smooth dough.
- Add fried gram, rice flour, chopped onion pieces, fennel seed powder, red chilly powder, chopped curry and coriander leaves to the dough.
- Combine well, see to it the dough is not too thick or watery.
- Heat oil in a fry pan, drop this dough little by little in desired size and shape.
- Fry till it turns brown in color and fragrant.
- Serve hot.
