Crispy Raggi Pakoda





Crispy Raggi Pakoda:



This is a simple, ideal and nutritious evening snack. It’s a healthy carbohydrate rich food  and incredibly tasty which leaves you cleaning up the plate. Indeed very easy to prepare as you can see….







Ingredients:



  • Raggi flour                  - 2 cups

  • Oil                                - 250 ml

  • Rice flour                    - 1 tbsp

  • Fried gram                  - 2 tbsp

  • Onion                          - 1

  • Fennel seed pwd         - ½ tsp

  • Red chilly                    - 2 (crushed to powder)

  • Salt to taste

  • Curry and coriander leaves



Method:



  1. Take Raggi flour, sieve to remove any dirt or granules present.

  2. Add salt and sprinkle little water to the flour and knead to smooth dough.

  3. Add fried gram, rice flour, chopped onion pieces, fennel seed powder, red chilly powder, chopped curry and coriander leaves to the dough.

  4. Combine well, see to it the dough is not too thick or watery.

  5. Heat oil in a fry pan, drop this dough little by little in desired size and shape.

  6. Fry till it turns brown in color and fragrant.

  7. Serve hot.
